I saw this today on Gizmodo and thought it was a pretty cool idea. The ancient city of Seuthopolis (in Bulgaria) was discovered in 1948 and was flooded 6 years later after a dam was destroyed. The city is currently underwater at the bottom of a lake but the plan is to build a new circular dam around the city and promote it as a tourist attraction.

Today I discovered a new media player called Songbird (by Mozilla), and it is awesome.
Visually it looks almost identical to iTunes (which I’m not sure is legal), functionally it has many more features and is customizable via plug-ins. It also features iPod syncing (which if not included would have been a deal breaker) that I have yet to try. All in all seems like a good alternative. I plan using it for a week or so before I make up my mind but so far so good.

After more than 8 months, hours and hours of trying to get a design I like, and an uncooperative WordPress upgrade I have finally put my new site online. There are still a few things I would like to improve on…but that can wait. I have been without a website far too long and all in all I am pretty happy with how this one turned out.

The 3 Step Guide to Upgrading WordPress
I like to think of myself as being quite computer savvy…but this 3 step guide is not that easy. How uneasy? Well I had to reinstall WordPress completely so I would say they need to come up with a better guide or method for upgrading. Perhaps being my first time I missed something but I will be pretty hesitant when the next new version comes out…besides that it seems like a pretty decent program so far. There are still a few things I would like to tweak still. The side navigation still could use some more formatting and I will probably try to integrate more features in the future…but for now I will keep things simple.
